Alia Bhatt's Bollywood film 'Jigra' has completed seven days since its release today. In six days, the film has earned ₹21 crore so far. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri's romantic drama film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' has performed better at the box office than Alia's film. However, the collection of both films has been disappointing, and it is expected that their earnings may improve over the upcoming weekend.
No major film is being released until November 1, so there is a possibility of an increase in the collections of 'Jigra' and 'Vicky Vidya' because the weekend lies in between, which could benefit both films. In 'Jigra,' Alia Bhatt plays the lead role alongside Vedang Raina. The film was released on October 11. Alia and Vedang have portrayed the brother-sister relationship well in the movie. Speaking of box office reports, the film had an opening collection of ₹4.5 crore, which was decent, but as the daily earnings have gradually decreased, it seems the audience has rejected the film.

Jigra earned around ₹16.75 crore in its opening weekend of three days, after which, starting Monday, it began earning ₹1.5 crore per day. According to Sacnilk, on Wednesday, the film's third-day collection was ₹1.25 crore. Therefore, the total collection of the film has now reached ₹21.10 crore.
There might be a surge in earnings over the upcoming weekend. Compared to 'Jigra,' Rajkummar Rao's film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,' which was released at the same time, has performed slightly better, and so far, the film has earned ₹25 crore.
This Friday, Ajay Devgn's films 'Singham' and 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' are being re-released. Since no major new release is scheduled until November 1, it is expected that the collections of 'Jigra' and 'Vicky Vidya' might improve. According to media reports, Alia's film 'Jigra' might turn out to be her lowest-earning film to date.
