The Sabarmati Report Hit Or Flop: Day 24 Box Office Collection and Budget
The Sabarmati Report, a political drama released in 2024 directed by Dheeraj Sarna, continues to face challenges at the box office after completing 24 days of its theatrical run. Balaji Motion Pictures and Vikir Films Production produced the film based on the tragic Godhra train burning incident of 2002. Though it carries a socially significant subject, strong performances failed to give it a long-lasting impression on audiences and critics alike.

Total Box Office Collection:
India Net: ₹ 32.25 crore
Worldwide Gross: ₹ 38.35 crore
Budget and Verdict:
The movie, made on a very modest budget of ₹50 crore, has managed to recover the cost of its production but still has a long way to go to be a successful film. With an India net collection of ₹32.25 crore and a worldwide gross of ₹38.35 crore, the film will likely be termed a box office failure.
Performances and Reception:
The film stars Vikrant Massey as Samar Kumar, Raashii Khanna as Amrita Gill, and Riddhi Dogra as Manika Rajpurohit with notable performances. Still, all that good effort couldn't redeem the movie as weak story-telling and shallow emotions worked towards it to a considerable degree.
Barkha Singh did make appearances; so also did Sundip Ved, Digvijay Purohit, and Nazneen Patni as part of supporting characters.
Audience Review:
While many loved this, more had negative reactions toward it.
Critics appreciated the intention behind the movie to present a significant and sensitive historical event but criticized its oversimplification and lack of emotional involvement. The reactions of the audience have been mixed, with most of them showing disappointment at the execution of a promising premise.
Sabarmati Report tried to discuss such an important topic but lost all the way in terms of execution, failing to draw the audience towards it, and its box office did not do much good as well.
